2150mm MDF/HDF (Medium or High Density Fiberboard)

High Density Fiberboard (HDF) is an engineered wood panel manufactured from resin-bonded wood fibers, subjected to high pressure and heat. Fushi Wood, a leading MDF manufacturer in North China, produces HDF with exceptional quality, ensuring a smooth surface suitable for various coatings such as veneering, laminating, painting, and varnishing. Our HDF fiberboard is available in multiple thicknesses and is designed for interior use in dry conditions, making it an ideal choice for a variety of applications.

High Density Fiberboard Features

• High Stability: High density mdf board boasts increased density, providing superior strength and durability compared to other wood-based products.

• Smooth Surface: The fine surface finish of HDF board allows for excellent adhesion of coatings, ensuring a polished and professional appearance.

• Easy Processing: High density fiberboard sheets are easy to cut, shape, and machine, making it suitable for intricate designs and detailed work.

• Moisture Resistance: Unlike traditional wood, heavy density fiberboard does not warp or crack when exposed to moisture, making it a reliable choice for various environments.

• Eco-Friendly: Produced from recycled wood fibers, HDF high density wood fiberboard is a sustainable option that minimizes environmental impact.

HDF vs. MDF

While both HDF (High Density Fiberboard) and MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) are engineered wood products, they serve different purposes due to their distinct characteristics. HDF has a higher density (up to 900 kg/m³), making it stronger and harder than MDF, which typically ranges from 680 to 830 kg/m³. This increased density allows HDF to excel in applications requiring durability, such as laminate flooring and furniture backing. Conversely, MDF is more versatile for projects requiring detailed machining and is often used in furniture, cabinetry, and interior finishing.
