Fire suppression scheme of electrochemical storage tank = detection and alarm system (very early advance detection) + fire extinguishing system of electrochemical storage tank (spray perfluorohexanone several times to prevent reignition and fire extinguishing, spray fine water mist at a later stage to cool the cabin and prevent fire spreading). The scheme is composed of a detection and alarm system and an electrochemical storage tank fire extinguishing system. The detection and alarm system is mainly composed of a lithium battery special compound detector, fire host, cable, etc. The fire extinguishing system of the electrochemical storage tank consists of a fire suppression device (containing water mist and perfluorohexanone), a sprinkler head, solenoid valve, pipe network, etc.

In the aspect of fire detection, mainly to detect and alarm system.

Instead of the traditional general layout of the whole space smoke sensor, temperature sensor as a fire detection method, the use of lithium battery special compound sensor, in each battery cluster layout of 4 compound sensors, at the same time to detect the temperature of the battery box, carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen (H2), electrolyte leakage gas (VOC), smoke and other parameters. And through the comprehensive algorithm for judgment, the signal is transmitted to the host, and then transmitted to each platform. The detection and alarm system can detect the signal released by a single battery module in the early stage of fire very early, which can save more time to process information and suppress the fire in the early stage.

The electrochemical storage tank fire extinguishing system is mainly adopted.

Perfluorohexanone is used in the early stage of non-destructive and precise multiple injection fire extinguishing, and water mist is used in the later stage of continuous cooling in the battery cabin. The fire extinguishing system of the electrochemical storage tank can spray perfluorohexanone for many times to suppress thermal runaway and reignition of lithium battery, while spray water mist can continuously cool down the battery tank to avoid further spread of fire to adjacent storage tank.
