How to get medical assistant certification from accredited institutes

Medical assistants work in outpatient or ambulatory care settings with physicians and nurses. Cross-training is provided through a medical assistant programme, allowing you to do both administrative and clinical roles. You must pass the CMA (AAMA) test to work as a medical assistant. A student must have completed a programme approved by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs to be able to take the test (CAAHEP).
