Nicholas Mukhtar Healthy Detroit: A Vision for Community Wellness

At each school, public health professionals will notice the current health culture among students, instructors, personnel, and educational plans for well-being training and advancement. Nicholas Mukhtar hopes that by the third year, the schools will be self-sufficient enough to be eligible for the Healthy Detroit Schools designation and blue ribbon certification. Almost 30 schools throughout the city have expressed interest in filling in as pilots.
