Super Saiyan God
Super Saiyan God is a super powered form that goes above and beyond Super Saiyan Blue. It can be obtained through a ritual that involves six righteous Saiyans or special divine training. It allows the user to regenerate their own ki at a faster rate than before. It also grants them a jagged and flame-like aura.
The form looks slightly bulkier than SSBlue and has a darker color scheme. The eyes become cyan and the hair grows taller with a spikier appearance. Vegeta started using ssgod in the zamasu arc and it still shows up a lot in the manga.
Many fans have considered it to be a subversive form for Goku as he isn’t actually a god in this mode. It was only able to match the power of Beerus and it didn’t last long.
Super Saiyan Blue Goku Shirt
Featured in the Tournament of Power arc, Goku unleashes SSblue to defeat the fearsome assassin Hit from another universe. He later uses it in an all-out fist-to-fist clash against True Golden Frieza.
This form is a fusion of the base Super Saiyan God and regular Super Saiyan forms. It enables a Saiyan to reach the level of a Super Saiyan God, but retains their cyan blue energy and godly aura. It also allows them to keep up with super saiyans and has a powerful ki-spike and ki control.
Unlike Perfected Super Saiyan, a person doesn’t lose any stamina in this form. However, this form doesn’t have the innate power of Super Saiyan God, so the user may struggle to overcome the wall they have built around their power.
Super Saiyan Green
It’s also known as Spirit Bomb Super Saiyan and the berserk form. It’s cool, but it doesn’t really feel like its own form and just looks like a green recolour of Super Saiyan 2.
Kale reaches this level after training with a God or absorbing his power. Unlike the other Super Saiyan forms, it doesn’t drain energy. This makes it very useful for long-game play. It’s a melee fighter with an arsenal of damage buffs, including a 5% heal when in attack range, and a one-count atom bomb Special Move. It also has a self-heal when it hits 50% health, boosting its defensive capabilities. It’s used by both Goku Black and Fused Zamasu, who have full control over their ki in this state. This is their permanent form.
Super Saiyan Red
A powerful hybrid form combining Super Saiyan God and the first Super Saiyan transformation. The silhouette that flashes before Goku when he goes into this form is that of the ancient Saiyan God Yamoshi, who lived long before the destruction of Planet Vegeta and was part of a group of righteous warriors fighting against more savage, brutal factions. This is why Future Zamasu dubs this power as Red-haired Super Saiyan, and also why Giblet and the amnesic Shallot reacted so strongly to Goku going into SSJR during the Tournament of Power arc.
Unlike SSJ4, which requires mortal ki, this form uses god ki, which doesn’t give its user new abilities but supercharges existing ones to astronomical levels. It was enough to allow Goku to effortlessly dodge Beerus’ ki blasts and counter them with his own, and crush the Sphere of Destruction between his hands in one of Dragon Ball Super’s most thrilling fights.
Super Saiyan Yellow Goku Kid T-shirt
Taking advantage of God Ki, Super Saiyan Yellow is both powerful and versatile. Its base stats are solid, but its true power lies in the Kaioken — a timed Transformation that boosts both Strike and Blast Damage for 20 Timer Counts after it’s used.
Dragon Ball GT introduced a non-canon variant of Super Saiyan called Super Saiyan 4, a form that represents a Saiyan’s embracement of their more bestial nature. This iteration is ten times stronger than Super Saiyan 3, but doesn’t come with the energy-draining drawback.
In the Frieza Saga, Goku used this iteration to decimate his former nemesis. It features golden yellow hair that spikes up and a blue aura. Kaioken doesn’t change the hair color it just changes the aura. It’s not as powerful as the other Super Saiyan forms, but it’s still a formidable presence on the battlefield.
