Composite elastic friction particles are made from a combination of synthetic rubber, friction-increasing materials, and friction-reducing materials through a specialized process.
Because they contain the right amount of friction-increasing and friction-reducing components and adhesives, and the rubber component is in an uncured state, they achieve optimal bonding and largely minimize the negative consequences of heat loss.
When friction particles are added to brake pads, they form a clustered structure within the pad. Under high-temperature conditions exceeding 300°C, the resinous organic components within these clusters decompose and carbonize slowly, layer by layer, while the particles retain their original skeletal structure, effectively extending the life of the brake pad.
Because this 4mm Composite Rubber Granules is a judicious combination of inorganic and organic, soft and hard, friction-increasing and friction-reducing materials, it achieves excellent adhesion when in contact with the friction partner, increasing the friction area and achieving a harmonious blend of softness and hardness, both rigidity and flexibility. This significantly reduces brake noise and improves braking comfort.
Adding this product imparts a stable coefficient of friction and excellent wear resistance, enhancing both safety and longevity.
Using this friction granule reduces the amount of phenolic resin used, thereby lowering brake pad costs and improving heat resistance.
