Command Task in SSB
The Command Task in SSB is a part of the GTO (Group Testing Officer) series where a candidate is made the commander and given an obstacle to complete within a specific time. The objective is to assess leadership, decision-making, confidence, and the ability to utilize team members effectively. The commander is allowed to choose a few group members as subordinates and must guide them clearly to accomplish the task. The GTO observes how well the candidate plans, communicates, and adapts under pressure. It is not about completing the task perfectly, but about demonstrating practical thinking and officer-like qualities.
