Dispersant Additive Silway8101

Description

Silway-8101 is an organo-modified siloxane to be used for surface treatment of fillers, pigments and flame retardants making them easier dispersible in thermoplastics formulations

Typical Application

1. Flame retardants, e. g. MDH or ATH

2. Inorganic fillers e. g. titanium dioxide, talc

3.Organic pigments, e. g. phthalo blues

4.Inorganic pigments e. g. ultramarine blue, iron oxides in polyolefines and engineering resins.

How to use

Silway-8101 can be applied in the wet filter cake. Alternatively, Silway-8101 can be added to the dry pigment either in a tumble mixer or by spraying it, e.g. in a spray drier or during milling.

Dosage can range from 0.5% to 2%,depending on actual application
