Inheritance, LookMovie, is a captivating young adult thriller that also explores the dynamics of a father-daughter relationship. Directed by Neil Burger and featuring Phoebe Dynevor and Rhys Ifans, the film is co-written by Burger and Olen Steinhauer. The story centers on Maya, a twenty-something who has devoted the past nine months to caring for her ailing mother. At the wake, Maya and her sister encounter their father, Sam (Ifans), a man they hardly know due to his frequent absences abroad. Eager to reconnect, Sam invites Maya on a business trip, offering her a generous payment of a thousand dollars a day.
