International Logistics Education
Trade and international supply chains can be challenging to manage because they need comprehensive planning and coordinated implementation. The Institute of Logistics & Aviation Management now provides an International Logistics Education which focuses specifically, but not exclusively, on the international transportation of goods, customs processes, and global supply chain concepts. In this course, students can expect to share their experiences of logistics in the real world from the perspective of a logistics manager and learn how to plan for international operations through contingencies. All students will connect theoretical concepts and academic research to applied practice, generating insight into the complexity of logistics today around the world and how to engage in learning about managing these operations in a realistic, sustainable, and responsible way.
