O-rings

SBT stands out as a leader in manufacturing custom O-rings, also referred to as packings or toric joints. An O-ring is a torus or doughnut-shaped gasket designed to effectively block the passage of liquids or gases. Crafted from elastomer materials, these circular cross-sectioned loops are strategically positioned within grooves to establish a tight seal. Normally, O-rings remain in the center of a gland until the pressure within the sealing system begins to escalate. At this point, the O-ring shifts away from the pressure and compresses to fill the gap between the two interconnected hardware components. O-rings prove invaluable in both static and dynamic applications, where they exhibit exceptional sealing capabilities.
