The working principle of planetary gearboxes is based on the motion characteristics of planetary gears. The axis of rotation of the planetary gears is not fixed and is installed on a rotatable bracket (called a planet carrier). The planetary gears can either rotate around their own axis or revolve around the axis of other gears with the planet carrier.
