Polypropylene Suture

PLAIN CATGUT SUTURE

Plain Catgut – ORIGUT is a fast absorbing surgical gut suture made from strand of collage nous material prepared from the sub mucosal layers of the small intestine of healthy sheep. Fast absorbing surgical gut sutures are sterile and elicit only a slight to minimal tissue reaction during absorption

Polypropylene Suture

Polypropylene Suture are non-absorbable, sterile surgical suture composed of an isotactic crystalline stereoisomer of polypropylene, a synthetic linear polyolefin. The suture is pigment blue to enhance visibility. SYNTHALIN Polypropylene Sutures are indicated for use in general soft tissue approximating and/or ligation, including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic procedures, and neurological procedures.

Polypropylene Mesh

Polypropylene Mesh – SYNTHALIN MESH / ORILENE MESH is constructed of Knitted filament of extruded polypropylene identical in composition.

Polypropylene filament undergoes a process of knitting which interlinks each junction of the fibre. We use special laser Cutting for our Mesh to have The Construction permits the mesh to be cut into any desired shape or size. This bi-directional elastic property allows adaptation to various stresses encountered in body.

Polypropylene Mesh is available in various thicknesses, dimensions, knitting patterns, shapes, sling, pore sizes and pre-cut sizes. Our products are tested and have excellent burst strength. We can manufacture any type and shape of Surgical Mesh as per our customers requirement. Our Surgical meshes are not only smooth and strong, but they are also thin and flexible.

Surgical Bone Wax

Bonewax – ORIWAX is a mixture of beeswax, paraffin, and isopropyl palmitate, a wax-softening agent. It is opaque and has a waxy odour. It’s indicated for use in the control of bleeding from bone surfaces during surgical procedures.

It achieves local hemostasis of bone by acting as a mechanical (tamponade) barrier. It does not act biochemically and is non-absorb-able. It is available sterile in individual foil envelopes, each containing 2.5 g and packed in an individually sealed overwrap. It is sterilized by Gamma radiation.

Packets should be opened just prior to use to minimize the possibility of contamination and excessive drying and should be used immediately. The Surgical Wax should not be re-sterilized or subjected to excessive heat. It is opaque and has a waxy odour. It’s indicated for use in the control of bleeding from bone surfaces and use in Wound Closure.
