The Seinfeld Experience

In honor of the 30th anniversary of Seinfeld’s first airing, marketing and event company Superfly Productions is bringing an immersive pop-up experience to New York City in Fall 2019. Fans will be able to explore Jerry’s living room, as well as set recreations, costumes, props, memorabilia and even scripts from the show.

Seinfeld is a series of comedy sitcoms that aired on NBC from 1989 to 1998. It was created by comedian Jerry Seinfeld and co-created by fellow comedian Larry David.

The sitcom was unique from the majority of TV shows of the time in that its main characters were not related to one another. Instead, the four principals, Jerry, Elaine, George and Kramer, were each very close friends who frequently interacted as a group.

The series is often regarded as a masterwork of television. It combines loosely structured stories, improvised comedy and character interaction with an underlying premise about human relationships. The show has become a cultural touchstone.

Kith

The New York-based streetwear brand Kith recently tapped comedian Jerry Seinfeld to be its model for its Fall 2022 campaign. In the series of photographs, shot by Mark Seliger, Seinfeld leans against a book shelf wearing varsity jackets and floral print sweat sets from the collection.

The 68-year-old comedian’s appearance is a little surprising, but not in the way that it would seem to be if you’re familiar with his style. The comedy legend is known for his affinity for the Mets and white sneakers, so it makes sense that he’d be a good fit for a streetwear campaign.

Seinfeld’s appearance is part of a larger effort by the brand to showcase its forays into new product categories and fabric executions. The fall ’22 range includes elevated styles like colorblocked wrinkle-nylon hybrid jackets, flocked denim to create a velour hand-feel, sherpa outerwear and more. The collection also features Kith’s ongoing Classics Program ™.

Fisher-Price

Fisher-Price, a brand known for its toys and playsets, is now offering an adult-friendly Seinfeld Little People Collector Set that celebrates one of the most beloved TV sitcoms of all time. The set features the four main characters: Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer.

They all stand 2.5 inches tall and wear their signature outfits. Jerry is wearing his classic white sneakers and a microphone; George is in his checkered shirt and slacks with a half-eaten eclair plucked from the trash; Elaine is dressed in her ’90s curls, sporting a floral skirt; and Kramer is holding a chicken wing recovered from the trash outside his apartment.

The package is designed to look like Seinfeld Hoodies, and it’s loaded with Easter eggs that only dedicated Seinfeld fans will spot. These include a unique coffee table, the Urban Sombrero and the unrivaled puffy shirt.
