Wind energy explained

Clean energy sources are called “clean” because they don’t emit any greenhouse gases nor cause any damage to the atmosphere. Wind energy is one of them. It can be used for electricity production.

To create electricity from wind power we need power turbines. Power turbines consist of three main parts: the rotor, multiplier, and generator. They use the kinetic of wind to generate electric energy.
