EA has confirmed Plants vs Zombies 3, a successor to the earlier Plants vs Zombies 2. Developers PopCap will return in making the game and EA will distribute it as they have done with previous games. Its all a far cry from the roots of Plants vs. Zombies as a tower defense title, and in some ways, yes, I do miss that. This was, to me, the ideal tower defense game, and I would have played many many sequels of it to great enjoyment. Neighborville makes the shooter transition solidly and competently, joining the sea of shooter games out there. Currently codenamed "Picnic", the game has yet to be officially announced as Plants vs Zombies 3... but it doesn't take too much to join the dots. If you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers!
