Bipolar stepper motor

The main design features of a bipolar stepper motor are its two independent, single-winding coils per phase (without center taps), which allow current to be reversed in direction through them using an H-bridge driver. This design enables higher torque by utilizing the entire coil, compared to unipolar motors that only energize half the coil at a time.
