bipolar stepper motor

In the control method of bipolar stepper motors, the current flows in both directions in one winding. This motor structure is relatively simple and has fewer terminals, but because the polarity of one terminal must be controlled, the drive circuit is more complex. Bipolar stepper motors can take advantage of the good winding utilization rate to obtain higher output torque, and can reduce the back electromotive force generated in the coil, so a motor driver with lower withstand voltage can be used. Bipolar stepper motors have three control modes: single-phase stepping, full-stepping and half-stepping.
