Drum Faucet

 

Drum faucets are convenient tools for users to dispense liquids from standard metal drums, and it is also known as drum tap. Screwing the tap could help users to adjust the flow rate of the contents. Normally drum tap has two sizes, 2 inch and 3/4 inch, which are of the same standard of drum openings.

 

Drum faucets are usually made of polyethylene and have excellent performance in terms of resistance to chemicals. No tool is needed to install drum tap. Simple screwing into drum opening is enough to settle the drum tap well.

 

Details of Drum Faucet

Size and thread of drum faucets are the same as standard drum flanges . This allows them to fit into any containers with standard drum flanges. Once screwed properly, it helps users to dispense liquids easily from the container.

2 inch drum tap is equipped with a gasket to prevent leaking, and 3/4 inch drum tap doesn’t need a gasket for sealing. Depending on contents in the container,  there are various gaskets available to choose from.

Raw material of the drum faucet is polyethylene, which makes it more economical compared with steel faucets. Properties of polyethylene contribute to the wide application range of drum faucets. Plastic drum faucet could be discarded if liquids become harden over time.
