For a deeper clean, choose a cleaner specifically designed for concrete floors. Avoid using harsh chemicals or acidic cleaners, as these can etch the surface and cause discoloration. Opt for a pH-neutral cleaner or a mild detergent diluted in water.

Apply the cleaning solution using a mop and scrub the floor in sections. For stubborn stains or greasy spots, use a scrub brush with stiff bristles. Pay attention to corners and edges where dirt tends to accumulate.

After scrubbing, rinse the floor thoroughly with clean water to remove any soap residue. You can use a hose or a wet vacuum for this purpose. Allow the floor to air dry completely before walking on it or placing any objects on it.

For oil or grease stains, use a degreaser specifically designed for concrete. Apply the degreaser according to the manufacturer’s instructions and allow it to sit for the recommended time before scrubbing and rinsing.

Consider sealing your concrete floor to protect it from staining and make cleaning easier. Sealers also help to prevent dust and reduce wear and tear. Choose a sealer that is appropriate for the type of concrete and the intended use of the space.
