How Sandwich Panel Machine Works?
The sandwich panel line is a kind of production line to produce sandwich panel, it usually consists of roller forming machine and PU spraying machine.
First, the raw material are fed into the de-coiler, the coil is rolled out on the guide rollers then fed into the roll forming machine where it’s processed by step-by-step cold forming. After cutting to length, the sections drop onto the transfer track where they are checked for completeness before being taken to the laminating station.
Second, after the preparation of foam base components, PU adhesive is mixed by means of a high-pressure impingement mixer at a constant temperature and pressure to form a homogeneous mixture with good physical properties. It has certain fluidity and can fully wet the surface of base materials.
Third, A cutting device cuts off surplus foam along the edges of both components according to standard and sprays it onto the top component by spraying gun or brush in order to realize foaming or pressing sandwich panel.
A polyurethane sandwich panel line can make different types of sandwich panels to meet your requirements on different occasions such as building insulation layer or refrigerated truck body etc.
PU sandwich panel lines are mainly used to produce sandwich panels. Sandwich panels are commonly used in the construction industry and have a wide range of applications, including partition walls, roofs and ceilings. The Sandwich panel machine has many advantages among which is good insulation performance, moisture proofing ability and heat preservation. There are many different types of sandwich panels available on the market that meet different purposes such as high strength, fireproofing or sound insulation etc. The key components of a sandwich panel line include:
Roller forming machine: It is mainly used for rolling out composite sheets according to customers’ requirements;
PU spraying machine: It applies PU spray coating onto the inner surface (or both inner surface) of composite sheets whose outer layer has been formed by roller forming machine
First, the raw material are fed into the de-coiler, the coil is rolled out on the guide rollers then fed into roll forming machine where it’s processed by step-by-step cold forming.
The sandwich panel production machinery consists of two pairs of forming rolls that rotate in opposite directions (one pair at 45 degrees and one pair at 90 degrees to each other) with a top and bottom packer. The first press forms the sandwich panel structure by pressing two sheets together between two layers of corrugated iron or aluminium foam cores in a single pass.
After cutting to length, the sections drop onto the transfer track where they are checked for completeness before being taken to the laminating station.
The sandwich panel is fed into a cutting system where it is cut to the required length. The sections are then dropped onto the transfer track where they are checked for completeness before being taken to the laminating station.
The lamination process involves pressing two panels together and heating them under pressure so that they bond together with a layer of hot glue between them. The sandwich panel is then passed through another set of rollers that flatten it out before being transferred into storage racks or packaged as required by customers.
After the preparation of foam base components, the PU adhesive is mixed by means of a high-pressure impingement mixer at a constant temperature and pressure to form a homogeneous mixture with good physical properties, which has certain fluidity and can be fully wet the surface of base materials.
The cutting device cuts off surplus foam along the edges of both components and sprays it onto the top component by spraying gun or brush according to standard in order to realize foaming or pressing sandwich panel.
A sandwich panel machine line can make various types of sandwich panels to meet different purposes.
Sandwiches panels are often used in buildings, bridges, and other fields. Since the sandwich panel is made of light materials, it is easy to transport; moreover, it can save more steel than the solid panel. Therefore, sandwich panels are widely applied in modern architecture. The sandwich production line consists of roller forming machine and a PU spraying machine.
The following describes how the sandwich panel machine works:
Framing device: frames a beam with metal bars or wooden boards and places them on both sides of a beam to form beams for making concrete structures (such as pillars) or steel structures (such as columns). The framing device can be used for different sizes by adjusting its length according to the size of the beams being framed;
Roller forming device: rolls out steel material into long strips and forms them into various shapes with high pressure rollers so that they become plates ready for welding;
Spray coating device: sprays polyurethane resin on the top plate through spray gun nozzle in order to increase its waterproofing effect
As a result, all the processes of the sandwich panel machine can be divided into two parts: one is the roll forming machine line; the other is PU sandwich panel machine. As you can see, there are many processes involved in manufacturing sandwich panels. However, with the development of technology, this kind of equipment has been greatly simplified, and it has become more convenient to produce high-quality sandwich panels.
