HSK Study Guide
HSK 1 Course
This course is suitable for zero-based Chinese learners.
Master 150 basic Chinese characters and the most basic HSK grammar. After completing this course, you can take HSK Level 1 exam. You can also understand and use very simple Chinese words and phrases to meet the most basic communication needs.
HSK 2 Course
This course is suitable for elementary Chinese learners who know some simple Chinese words and phrases and can’t communicate fluently and confidently.
Master 300 Chinese characters and HSK Level II-related grammar. After completing this course, you can take HSK Level 2 exam. You will master basic Chinese expressions and be able to express your ideas and needs fluently and confidently in basic communication situations.
HSK 3 Course
This course is suitable for intermediate Chinese learners who have a certain Chinese foundation, but their Chinese level can’t meet the functional needs of life, study, work, travel and other aspects.
Master 600 Chinese characters and HSK Level III-related grammar. After completing this course, you can take HSK Level 3 exam. Your Chinese level can meet the needs of personal life, study, work and travel.
HSK 4 Course
The course is suitable for students who will make some pauses and mistakes in the process of expression but can confidently communicate their interests and professional topics with others.
Master 1,200 Chinese characters and relevant grammar of HSK Level 4. Students who have completed this course can take HSK Band 4 exam. Students can discuss topics extensively in Chinese and communicate fluently with native Chinese speakers.
HSK 5 Course
This course is suitable for students who have mastered a large number of reading vocabulary but may encounter some difficulties when delivering a long Chinese speech.
Master 2,500 Chinese characters and HSK Grade 5-related grammar. Students who have completed this course can take HSK5 Level 5 exam, watch Chinese movies in reading Chinese newspapers and magazines, and write and deliver long speeches in Chinese.
HSK 6 Course
This course is suitable for students who can understand difficult topics, but still, find it difficult to express themselves spontaneously and accurately.
Master more than 5,000 Chinese characters and relevant grammar of HSK-6. Students who have completed this course can take HSK6 Level 6 exam. Students can easily understand any Chinese information, and can effectively express themselves in spoken and written Chinese.
