Microporous Expanded Metal Mesh Diamond Hole

Product Description

Unique Integral Structure, High Strength

The mesh is a seamless, jointless integral structure. The material at its diamond-shaped nodes is not cut, maintaining the original strength of the metal, thus possessing high tensile strength and overall stability, and is not prone to localized tearing or deformation.

Lightweight and Large Surface Area

After expansion, the mesh weight is significantly reduced, while simultaneously forming a three-dimensional diamond structure, providing a much larger surface area than the original plate. This is a huge advantage in applications requiring heat dissipation, filtration, or enhanced adhesion (such as as a filter cartridge skeleton).

Flexible Pore Size and Shaping Capabilities

By adjusting the cutting pattern and stretching rate, various diamond-shaped holes, from fine to wide, can be produced on the same plate with smooth transitions. It can also be flattened, rolled, and shaped into various curved surfaces and cylindrical shapes.

Excellent Fluid Passage

The diamond-shaped channels are non-straight-through, effectively turbulent the flow and promoting fluid mixing. At the same time, the porosity can be made very high, resulting in low fluid resistance.

Common specification examples:

Stainless steel 304, t=1.0mm, SWD=3mm, LWD=6mm, opening rate approximately 65%, finished product width 1000mm, roll length 30 meters.
