Slient Check Valve
Basic information of Slient Check Valve
This valve is installed at pump outlet to prevent backflow of medium and reduce noise and water hammer of water system.
Features of Slient Check Valve
1. Flexible opening and closing, with grease sleeve between guide shaft and guide frame;
2. The disc opens and closes short stroke to prevent water hammer;
3. Fluid flow smooth, local head loss small;
4. Simple structure and convenient maintenance.
Principle of Slient Check Valve
This valve works automatically, and the disc opens under the action of fluid pressure flowing in one direction. When the fluid is flowing in the opposite direction, the pressure of the fluid and the self-aligning disc of the disc act on the seat to cut off the flow. It is not suitable for medium containing solid particles and high viscosity. When the medium flows in the specified direction, the disc is opened under the action of medium force. When the medium reverse flow, because of the disc self-weight and disc by the medium reverse force, so disc and seat sealing surface close and closed.
