Plastic Injection Molding Services

Plastic injection molding supplier Proto-mold is focus on high-quality plastic injection molding services, and mold processing production cycle is short, automatic production line, high stability and mold precision characteristics, precision is strictly controlled in about 0.02mm.

Types of Plastic Injection Molding For Sale

Automotive Product Mold

High-precision software is used to design molds with precise core and cavity dimensions, taking into account requirements such as insert molding and dual-mold molding, which are commonly used in the automotive industry. If the customer prefers this approach, the mold design will be adjusted accordingly.

Electronics Product Mold

Proto-mold is focused on high-quality plastic injection mold production, and the mold processing production cycle is short, Electronics production line, high stability and mold precision characteristics, precision is strictly controlled in about 0.02mm. Plastic injection mold can produce a series of plastic parts of different shapes and sizes by the coordination of convex and concave die and auxiliary forming system.

Home Appliance Mold

The design team of proto-mold has rich experience in mold structure optimization of plastic electronic products, avoiding more than 98% of scheme defects before mold opening, saving cost, and shortening the development cycle.

Medical Device Plastic Injection Molding

Medical equipment mold can produce a series of plastic parts of different shapes and sizes by the coordination of convex and concave die and auxiliary forming system.

How does plastic injection molding work?

The first step in the plastic injection molding process is to come up with the idea of making something useful, and then designing the product with cad software. You will need to design your part by using CAD software.  Once you have designed your part and mold, you can begin to create the tool path for cutting out the metal shape of your part. Now that you have your design, it’s time to put it into a mold.  You’ll need to select the type of plastic material, which is most common done with a resin identification code (ric). You can find this information in your CAD file or on the product’s packaging. In this step, we clamp the mold onto the injection molding machine and let it heat up until it’s hot enough to melt the pellets of plastic into a liquid when they enter underneath the ram. This process makes sure that nothing is trapped inside, which could cause defects in your product.
